Apples, Apples, Everywhere!

We investigated apples this week.  The children recorded the color and size of their apples.  They also measured their apples, drew pictures of their apples, and tested to see whether their apples would float or sink.

We created a flow map to show the sequence of the apple life cycle.

The children taste tested red, yellow, and green apples in order to choose their favorite colors.  Then they created a graph on the SMARTBoard to show the results.

At the end of our investigation, the students drew an apple and labeled the parts in their science journals.
