I tried to get a couple of up close pictures of a couple chicks that still have their egg tooth (the sharp yellow point on the end of their beak). This sharp "tooth" helps the chicks puncture their eggs and will only stay for a day or two after hatching. Then it just falls off after it is not needed anymore.
